I really like Constitution as your other stat as well.

I once made up a system, use your luck more in rolls, or in the game. e.g.: higher numbers now exchanged for not so great luck later, like all bosses will be harder.....

Some class restrictions fed off the stats for the races. Higher bonuses to Str offset by lower Int/Wis kinda leads to no Mages there, same for hobbits/beggins, etc.

Had to admit the resource micromanaging. HAD to see if you could get 4 digits hp, then 5 digits....always more more more.

Still grinding away over at Egg's Ultima Online, only as a DM now

Growlz is crotchety enough to be Old-Timer! Sure miss the heady days of actual beta-testing the original demos and such. "playing" until crashes just to see what would actually work, emailing results and praying the mods would send patch quickly! Some reason, memory is fixated on the Arena...
