I hate to say this, but I really don't like this game. It is so cumbersome and awkward, it really takes away from the positives. Want to buy something, well be prepared to have to click Continue 2 or 3 times first, despite the fact that the only thing this person dopes is buy/sell things. Combat, de...

So I have only played for a little while. Haven't even created any characters yet. I stuck with the default bard who started off in the game. I will say I am not hooked yet, but it is not a bad thing. There is a lot of tutorial stuff, and I have only had a few fights and I am still figuring them out...

Looks like the Beta is now available for the backers! Haven’t tried it yet (downloading now), but even after all of the updates I don’t know if I ever believed it was really going to happen. Fingers crossed!

That's cool. I knew they were remastering, but I have not heard any progress. Glad to see a beta is out at least.

Yes, I recall having a similar issue. I believe that is a hard coded limit unfortunately.

While open Source would hopefully breathe some new life into DW, I don't know how much I would be able to contribute. I don't have any programming skills, so it will probably be all Greek to me.

I joined the kickstarter for it. They have my money, so let's hope it works out like we all hope. They are also working on a remastered version of the original games which can be played without an emulator, so that will be cool too. Depending on your contribution level, that was one of the offered e...

The game loads up, and I played it briefly on W10, but didn't play it for very long. Also haven't tried any modding aspects. Just not getting back into it unfortunately.

I did get Silversword, but since I only have the iPhone, I haven't played it yet since it is kind of small. But it is good to see these types of games.

Yeah, I am not sure how to fix it, but I just put it on a flash drive and compiled it on another computer. Don't have the time or technical knowledge to begin troubleshooting. :D

Item Compile Error

Hey guys. For anyone still around. quick question. I am having an issue running the ilftool on my new laptop. It is running Windows 8, and it keeps telling me it can't open the items_BL2D.bak file. The file is in the items folder, so I'm not sure the issue. Anyone else seen this?

Unfortunately, no. I think it may have been something that was going to be added, butt then all of the developers disappeared. This was a feature that I was really hoping for though.

Monsters are set at the same level and stay there, regardless of how much you level.

I don't think the quest should interfere with your leveling. Why can't you level? There is no way to cancel an already started quest, but you shouldn't need to start over. You should be able to just keep playing other quests and leveling, and then just tackle it when you are more seasoned if you are...
