No crafting for now. Alchemy, yes. Mostly things that go boom, and a cheap bastiche way to have some buffs and healing. Quite honestly, crafting added little but a build in cheat mode for DW to me. Especially before it was nerfed (it was nerfed...?). Level 13 characters shouldn't be doing 900 damage...

DW doesn't, but then again, this isn't DW. I'll make some concessions to modern convenience. Mostly, the journal will record all the books and scrolls you can pick up, as well as any wall inscriptions. Signs and conversations, not so much. What ever happened to Angelfire? I think it sucked, but what didn't back in those days? I think I had a page on that too.

There haven't been 93 people interested in this game in years. Heck, I think we're into single digits now.

Just out of curiosity, are there any other "free" sites similar that are closing? I used to know a couple, in fact had a page on one. I don't remember much about it now, and doubt I could find it if it still exists, but still...

It'll eventually be the automap, once I get enough of the UI drawn up to put together a functioning automap. Thinking of adding a "wimp" mode where the journal records locations, and the coordinates are displayed constantly.

LOL, yeah. That is a definite negative for it. But I try to not let graphic style choose my games for me. There's a couple anime-style games which turned out to be really good games in my collection.
