I forgot when my birthday was a few centuries prior. After a few hundred, you tend to not notice them any more.

Yep. In fact, there's a remake for Windows if you wanna try again.

I was able to get past the first level on the C64, a few times. Never in Windows though. Never got past Level 2, which is the Statue of Liberty.

And yes I'm designing a game.

Most of it will be handled automatically. It's still an old school dungeon crawler in design. Just specific mechanics give it a more realistic and intense combat. No more "Warrior A swings 12 times, killing it!". I'm not planning on tactical combat (ala Gold Box, Ultima 6) yet. I'll lay do...

Bah! After a mere thousand years, you should just be getting warmed up. I say top it off with a world wide cataclysm of some sort. I made the Kennedys in a lab in Eire.

Though Growlers taste rancid. No amount of BBQ sauce can mask that taste. Kitii are tasty though. Hard to catch on a good day, but make a mean quiche. As an aside, I finally redid the combat mechanics as I'd been meaning to. It's quite a bit more intense and different than the old BT/Wiz style. Now ...

Same here, I wasn't aware of a real life Skara Brae until after I'd gotten a bit older. At which point, my grandfather (who introduced me to gaming) told me about it. He'd been there. The world needs more turn-based old school dungeon crawlers. If they do something unusual, and get away from the typ...

Yeah, you can kill them and eat them. And the furs work just as well as the non-speaking kind's fur.

It's only level 5. The real challenge comes when you face an awakened one with 20 levels of Sorcerer, a few meta magic feats, and is a half-breed with a black dragon (somehow).

I just realized I'm running the risk of making a damn furry game. Of the 12 races selected for use, 5 are furries. The main issue is my lack of traditional fantasy races as playable. Closest I come is the cat and dog-folk races, and a lizard race (both of which commonly appear in modern fantasy sett...

The 'Cube is a level 5 elite brute in 4E. 152hp, AC 18, Fort 18, Reflex 16, will 15. Gains a +9 to stealth, and is invisible until seen. As expected, it can engulf attackers, or slam into them to immobilize them. It gives 400xp when defeated. While a PC is engulfed, they take 10hp in acid damage unt...

No ETA. I spent more time last night playing around with a horror game I came up with while talking to a friend one night. I also tweaked a platformer I came up with out of nowhere, and added some stuff to the pair of strategy games I have. Both use the same combat mechanics, just one adds economic ...

I have both the 3.5e and 4e books on my shelves, but it would require me to walk 6 feet to get to them. Ok, more like 5 feet. And I'm playing LEGO Batman right now on my PS3.

Out of boredom...

I'm going to post a bit off the cutting room floor from my own game. This is a race of winged elves basically. Originally, the plan was to have some areas accessible via flying, but now I don't feel like implementing it. It's extremely hard to balance in the combat mechanics when the players can sim...

Neat. Been a long while since I've seen the castle-style legos too. When I was little (however many millennium that was ago), I had a huge Lego castle.

I slew it using Mangar's Mallet.

Never leave me alone to get bored. I require a steady diet of Japanese women and cookies.
