+ somewhere you can buy a smart staff which is helpful to arcanist. or is it elementalist? One of the two. Master Chaney would know for sure.

If a character is able to equip an item (and IIRC, when you you visit the shops, you will know whether or not a character can equip an item or not), then there is no reason for a character to not equip that item. You do not need to limit yourself to whatever type item that you initially were given. ...

Hi, yes I have a timed script in my mod. Sadly though, I haven't done much with the mod, and what I have done, I want to change to make better. Additionally, I do want to release an update with the complete monster file I put together from Jykler's official monsters.txt file + all other versions of ...

Re: Any Tips?

I have a PsiKnight, Ranger, Rogue, Red Claw, Bard, and two Warriors. All keep dying. While this lineup of classes might work early on at fighting in the streets of Rennibister, it will not work when you start entering the dungeons. You will want at least 1 Arcanist, and 1 Elementalist. I would sugg...

Hmmm. I have this crystal ball here and if I wave my hand over it, an image of Origen appears. Then Origen speaks and he says "RTFM!".

Or at least that's what Origen would say if he was here. 8)

Anyways, welcome to the forums! and happy adventuring! :P

I have the Megamod hosted on my site. Not maintaining it per se but have updated it on a few occasions. The most current version of the Megamod is version 02A and can be downloaded at my DW page. http://www.weekendwastemonster.net/crpgs/dw/dw.html along with the DW toolkit or whatever file you so ch...

Just curious...do you ever plan on releasing the Devil Whiskey source code? I didn't bother with picking up this Bundle, as I already own the DW, and none of the other titles really interested me. As for Mordor. I have Mordor 1.1 CD version along with the shareware version of it as well. It really i...

It could be like chaney says a corrupt savegame file, however you mentioned it was your first play....you did remember to save your gave before you exited the game, correct? Is it possible you created characters, played a bit, then exited the game without saving? Has this happened multiple times? or...

Also, RT's unofficial 201b patch (included in the Megamod) helps correct leveling up issues. All classes will level up quicker if the game is patched. When I first played the game through to the end, I had used an unpatched 2.0 version, and basically you get to a point in (I think the Guard Tower), ...

D+D Order of the Griffin

I found this game today and wondered how in the hell I could have missed this?! Then I see that it was released in Japan on the TurboGrafx-16 only. It was an rpg that basically combined Pool of Radiance and Eye of the Beholder, and it's made by Westood! (HOW COOL IS THAT!!) but used D+D rules rather...
