re-implementation of mage-characters spells

Post here and share with us your suggestions:
What would you like to see in a future upgrade?
What would be ideal for a sequel?
What doesn't work well (be nice about it)?
What would be an interesting add-on feature?
Graphical elements..?

re-implementation of mage-characters spells

Post by dragonbait »

OK. Not that I have any hope of any further game implementations since the DW developers have been M.I.A. since around the time I first joined here, but...... my main suggestion would be to re-implement spells for the different spellcasting classes. I mean every class of mages have the same spells. This should not be the case. Each spellcaster class should have different spells to cast that way each spellcaster class has a unique benefit and is equally useful but in a highly different way. I'd like to see this in a new Devilwhiskey game, but realizing that really no-one (developerwise) is here, maybe someone in the modding community that is able to create something new, will take this into effect.

It shouldn't be that hard customizing most of the spell list using the action editor. Any which are not action spells (ie light spells, trap zap, summons) are not editable with the tools we were given.
I reject your reality, and substitute my own.
