Well, Townies aren't known for their insults, but I was expecting a better wrath. Don't let the problems in the bedroom take away from your wrathfullness. Keep a stiff upper lip.

At least they you will have 1 thing be that way.

That's funny. We Growlers generally don't have wrathful energy nor inclination after successful bedrooming...perhaps the Big O...is not?

Seem to recall getting one of the best rings dropped from Black Claw encounters...out in the wilderness? & one of the dungeons?? But also by selecting the right fight at the Arena turned out to be the quickest way to get add'l rings (at least the one anyone could wear & that dropped AC by ~5?).
Sorry if any details are off--it's been awhile.
 sorry...looked back over some notes...only ring-thing I'm sure of is that Bridecki Magi occasionally drop a 'Ring of Protection' (A.C. -7)

I thought it was MAGE RING that the Black Claws sometimes dropped?

You may be right re: Black Claws dropping Mage Rings, but those are purty potent rings (AC -10 fer ARC's & Ele's) for a lowly BC..?

That's the balance. Mage rings have a greater AC bonus but are for spellcasters only whereas defender rings are good for everyone.

Pretty sure Rings o' Protection are dropped by Bridecki Magi...which may be available to whip up on in the Arena (if so, they should drop one every 3~5 fights...assuming you win!)
