O' course its a random probability whether one gets dropped after a successful fight. I think from memory it has a value of 100, meaning you'll get one once in 10 fights, on average.

But you knew that already.

Party without Paladin

I started a party without paladin because i thought mages can resurrect and banish summoned creatures on high levels, too. Now i found out they can't. Would you guys rather try to complete the game now or train a new paladin? My Chars have levels 25-28.

Depending on where you are, it shouldn't take the Paladin long to advance a couple of levels, assuming he survives.

How did you get a picture of your party shown directly onto this forum?

If you email me your party (or maybe Growler) I will host it on my Site and from there you can link it and display it on this Site.

check yer email, Mister Stax-man..

(does it actually take email an extra 1.5 hrs. to travel from us to the landownunder?:?)

meanwhile, here's the Stax-team link:

[bad-ace linky - sorry]

btw, you got any shortcuts for whipping thru those when it's each Orc's turn to run, jump, slash, kick, or ponder his short-lived fate?? (that's a Lot o' space-bar tappin' or do ya use 'shift+>' & max out the speed-scroll right after your hi-lev guys finish their turns??)

Third post and my second necro already! Anyway, still OT :)

1. Female Human Paladin.. She's ok, atleast nice to look at

2. Male Senrat Warrior, he's great! A bit addicted to cheese, that's all.

3. Female Gnome Rogue, another pleasing to the eye, but don't stare too long at her and she'll poke your eyes out. She's quick with that daggar!

4. Male Beggen Bard.. Spend more time drinking and looting than playing music....

5. Female Human Arcanist.. I think she need some "attention" as she keeps yelling "B@LLS!" in dungeons. (Ball of Bearing, love it,... and the only spell I know how to write short..."

6. Male Gnome Pyromancer - He's... Just don't look at him funny, ok? :D

Looks like a swell cutting crew ye gots there, Oxira!

However, I worry about gazing upon them over-long..eh.. 8)

Personally, I liked having at least 2 ele's.
Can shut down the opposition with a BLLI or duo..

Who's yer fav of yer current crew?
And who would ye lose fer a ha'penny?

Tough question.

Everyone is really pulling their weight great. If I had to pick I'd probably pick the Arcanist as favorite and tell the warrior to take a hike.

Got a new member to the party. All the girls in the party was bored of looking at one Rat, one drunk and one old gnome all the time. They hired a barbarian to look at. It was a nice surprise that he was useful beyond being eyecandy.. He's already dishing out more damage than my paladin and warrior and he still got only one attack!

That's cool.. hey, does the Barb get extra attacks?

Reminds me of an interesting dilemma..

is it better to use a Short sword (with an extra attack, but less damage per attk)
OR
a Long Sword (no extra attack, but more damage per attk) ?

best I can tell, it's better to go with a Short sword early on, then switch to Long Sword once your tank earns at least 1 add'l attack.. then the extra damage (slightly at first, but increasingly as add'l attacks are earned) wins the day.
