I got it four years ago during my summer job. I was driving around in a converted 1959 Cadillac hearse, working as a paranormal investigator and eliminator. The cool part was driving the hearse, and the looks on the neighbor's faces.

San Angelo... What do you know? Now tell me do you have something to say? Don't get me wrong, I miss my home, and it feels like I'm a million miles away.

Somehow, you tapped into the collective unconscious with the Ghostbusters ref. My son is so young he doesn't know anything about the movie, and I couldn't find it for sale locally, but he got really interested in what I told him about the giant marshmallow and the Statue of Liberty stomping around, and the old ambulance/hearse with the bizarre siren. I found some images, and what started it all was seeing a model of Ecto 1 in a mall shop, but he'll just have to see the movie for himself someday.

OK, show's over. Nothing more to see here. Move along...
Don't you have some restraints to tighten, or something?

*blasts HGamer with a postron collider*

Hey! No serious posts here! Take that to some other forum you perv!

I love Ghostbusters, I actually have the first three issues of the 4 issue miniseries that came out last year, and I just ordered the new novel off of amazon.com. We also introduced my little cousins, (4,5, and 5) to Ghostbusters as well, through a few well chosen Christmas gifts.

88 MPH comics did a 4 issue mini last year. Pretty good, though I missed the last ish due to transmission problems. It's being put into a limited edition hardcover soon, you can pre-order it at Diamond or some other such distributer. They're suppossed to go into a regular series as well, but I don't know how that's progressing. The URL is at the bottom of the post.

There's also the new books by Sholly Fiche (or whatever her/his name is). The first is out, and the next is due out sometime this year. Suppossed to be a 3 book deal.

I didn't think I'd end up making an actually serious post at this board at all.

I'm in serious therapy. Couldn't you tell?

88MPH probably a BttF reference. At least 2 versions of the DeLorean (original & Mr. Fusion) were at that same model car store in the mall where we saw Ecto 1.

Suspect we all need some therapy--serious or knot.

Except for Dom.
He'll require something far more... (what's the opp of subtle?)

I am the opposite of subtle. I break sledgehammers by slamming them into my head.

Heh, in a previous job, I had the nickname of "Bulldozer" When asked to remove some 19" racks of obsolete equipment, I simply pushed the whole cabinet over and dragged it outside. With wiring still attached. Fairly subtle.
