:(

Douglas B's "bardstalk.com" is offline

It had some cool walkthroughs and other valuable stuff for both the Bard's Tale and also the Devil Whiskey. Unfortunately it seems the site is no longer.

Occasionally I go through my site to see if the links are still working. What can you do? It's really too bad. I think it's probably best that if you find something online that is valuable....COPY IT! AND KEEP IT!, that way when sites go down, YOU stilll have it. Darn it! Kicking myself in the arse for not picking up some of Doug's stuff before it went under. :(

I'll send him a PM, though I've no Idea whether he will respond or not....

That is really good advice. I have so many saved links for BT information, as there are some great stuff. I will probably make sure I have everything saved again just to be sure.

I stopped subscribing to my previous web hosting site. Unfortunately I am about 50 megs above my limit so they won't display my web site. No promises but, if I can get (a lot of) time from work I will go through and try to host it on another free site that has a higher mb limit.

Hi all again,

Here is the new site. 95% of the links are broken and I am trying to get them fixed on the new server.

hmmm. Prohosting.com is given a really nasty rating on W.O.T.

Alternatively, taking a stroll over to the Wayback machine nets an archive from 2008 which contains most of the site, minus a few images in some locales.
