Purchase/download link not working.

Post by t0nedude »

Hi,

When clicking on the link on your site to purchase Devil's Whiskey via download, I get the following error:

The file e:\web\public_html\decklinsdomain\shiftingsuns\dwmember\rconfig-ioncube.inc.php has been encoded with the ionCube PHP Encoder and requires the free ioncube_loader_win_4.4.dll ionCube PHP Loader to be installed.

No matter what I do I always get this same error. I have attempted to install the ioncube PHP Loader (whatever that is) to no avail.

Any suggestions, or is the link well and truly borked?

Regards,

Tony.

I just got same error message.. hopefully it will be fixed soon.

But you may try emailing Decklin.. either PM (private message) here or via the contact email listed at the main DW page.

Hope it works out soon!

Was under the impression that it was only being sold in box form. Could be wrong. Try PMing Decklin like the Growler said or you should be able to order the boxed version.

The boxed versions come with a nice manual booklet with the CD case.

Well, I don't mind paying for a boxed version, but I live in the UK, and I was hoping to play it NOW! :)

I'll probably have to wait several weeks for it to get here.....

Oh well, I'll give it a shot.

Thanks for your help,

Tony.

Tony, have you played the DW demo?
If not, that could help ya pass the time
(can even manually xfer yer demo savegame into full ver)

In the past, if you bought the boxed ver, you got a 'free' download to booty if you wanted it.. but not sure what the current policy is.. and may be same error-message issue you got before when trying to get the d/l ver.

Hey, anyone have suggestions re: which version would be best to use when starting a new game/chars? Should Tony or others get the newest patched versions...& make compatible with the Megamod version??

Origen, Rickstavern, or Dragonbait will likely have good advice for which ver to go with so you can easily play all the mods (add-on games) with your same crew ~ After finishing the main game...

Keep us posted how it goeth! :P

Hi all,

Well I've ordered a boxed version, so now all I can do is wait by the front door for two weeks :)

Actually no, I'll download the demo and see what I'm letting myself in for. ;)

Although if it's anything like The Bards Tale I should love it.

Heard about this game from a journo in PC Gamer UK praising it.

Cheers,

Tony.
