Congrats!
I've played it before (soon after RT created it), but about to re-engage with a new crew.

What lev are your guys now?
And are you playing with the same crew as your BT game?

Oh wait, Origen's BT isn't in the MegaMod is it?
Seem to recall it didn't mesh somehow?

I seem to remember that Origen's BT mod required DW version 2.0, while the patches & such expanded beyond that. Not exactly sure what made it need 2.0 but I think the readme file might indicate such.

as BT is still burned into my brain

"tarjan" and "lie with passion and be forever damned" being but 2 examples, am looking forward to testing myself and seeing if i can remember the teleport co-ords to the beserkers :D

I don't understand.. the current MegaMod (far as I can tell) does not contain Origen's BT mod..?

But maybe Archie did an overlay of BT files.. &/or Defend Rennibister quest??

Well, cool ya can use the same crew for both!

Keep us posted on your progress with BT or any other Quests--and don't forget the main storyline ;)

chances are i have confuddled the water (or at least myself)

the BT version is crashing still so could be to do with the fact that i created and levelled up (and in casino) my DW crew, and then just brought the save game into the BT folder.

not to worry the BT version can wait

I'm not sure you can transfer save games between DW and BT: the items list are different (which could explain the crashes), there might be conflicts with the flags, not to mention the saved maps...

am on the cloak quest, and foolishly didnt make many notes when i met alathor (sp?) and now need to answer his riddle after placing the staff

anyone care to divulge? point me in direction of previous thread on subject?

think my backed up save game is a way away from getting down there to look for him again.

cheers

:(

am now slightly puzzled - answered the riddle and got the ring but when i go to the NE corner of the dungeon where the socket is for the ring

nothing happens :(

Not certain, but may be zat ring goeth in a different socket?

Btw, these questions are cool & kosher, but should prolly go in the Demo spoiler thread--I suggest 'Demo' spoiler since it tends to deal primarily with z cloak quest. 8)

latest noob question

got round to freeing the dwarves and got the pipes

all of the different loot from the 396 dwarves (361 luckily sent to sleep  )

was is there a spell or way of finding out the attributes of gear. mainly weapons?

will pop into a shop when it is daytime, is it just a case of more expensive = better weapon?

As you reach higher levels, use the e(x)amine option when looking at the weapon, and it will give you info such as damage, number of attacks, etc. Some of the spell casting info is more hint than direct info.

Who's still here?
