I wish there was a guide with maps and walkthroughs for this game, but alas...

I'm stuck in the first dungeon. I have Alethor's Staff and Marias Ring but now I don't know what to do. It seems I have explored every inch of that place to no avail... any help would be appreciated.

It has automapping, just press the tab key. You still need a dwarf item. If memory is correct, check the southwest area.
