Sigh.
Since I can only find some MMORPGs online, does that mean they aren't good games?
Because the market for turn-based RPGs is a lot smaller than that for anything with real-time, FPS, or action-oriented gameplay.
Figure out why "indie" and "non-licensed" and "fan-made" and "for fans of the original" apply to Devil Whiskey, and you'll start to understand why this game isn't in the Wal-Mart racks next to H*lo or H*lf L*fe. Or in some other genre like RTS or FPS.

1 point 21 jigawatts!
It takes a very spatial persona to dedicate him/herself to a T-B RPG
There's a sliver of silver mystique about playing something that only the elect know of & commit to.. 8)

*leaps off of cliff only to levitate for no damn reason at all*
Whats the point to leaping off cliffs? Is there some special thing I'm missing out on?
The reason DW isn't on the shelves is simple. Walmart doesn't pay the vendors who they buy from for at least a year, unless uit's my grandfather who carries a magnum handgun in his pocket and shut down a Walmart before when they owed him money. SSS also lacks a distribution setup capable of pushing out the thousands of copies necessary, lacks advertisement to push the game off the shelves, and as an old-style turn based RPG, resides within what is now a very small market segment.

San Angelo... What do you know? Now tell me do you have something to say? Don't get me wrong, I miss my home, and it feels like I'm a million miles away.
