Should we have a mod-making contest

I would be happy to give it a shot.

It's a good idea, but I will not be participating.

I think this is pretty stupid.

How can we possibly compete with a mod god like Origen?

I unfortunately do not have the tutorial here at work, so I am not sure. What is the name of the Tutorial you are using?

You should be using the Maps Tutorial and the Scripting Tutorial.

Also, not to sound too modest, but I put a tutorial on the forums, which I think is a little more in depth than the ones given with DW for getting a very basic understanding.

Thinking about it, that sounds like you are following the items tutorial, which is where I think that file is located.

I would leave that part for later, but you would have to modify the items text file first, and then run the exe. It will then create new files to place in your data folder.

I would recommend to start with the basics, and then work from there.

Okay, I was able to find a copy of the DW toolkit on my flashdrive.

You were using the items tools. The items is a little more complicated, and if you make any changes, you will not be able to complete some of the Devil Whiskey game, because some new items will not be included.

Try the scripting and mapping first, as I mentioned.

Maybe I will expand my tutorial to include the items and monsters a little later.
