And then, there was the beginning....
Got some stuff done today. The basic layout with 1 door style and 1 wall style for the labyrinth has been completed for the whole 30X30 map.

Keep them teasers comin'!!
I don't know what the original looks like if this is the degraded version, but this pic is sweet!!! I seriously doubt if anyone will complain about the graphics. This stuff is so many levels above BT or even D&D, it can't even be compared. Get down with your bad self!!!

My reference about the degradation of pictures refers to the picture of the Portal to the other side which can be seen in the Adobe Photoshop thread. The first image is in .png form which still looks good but by the time I transfered it to another computer and into .jpg format to put into the game it seems to have lost allot of its clarity. Its much grainier now (see in game Portal to the other side) picture in Adobe Photoshop thread. It still looks good, but just not as good as it did originally.
This mage picture is just an in-game monster pic (lightning mage) and thus there is no degradation of picture.

basically I was looking to use the actions editor to help with types of attacks that can hit party members with low AC's. I got this response from Rickstavern...
something to the effect of...
0x000e0001 (basic attack)
0x0009000c (spell: HEME(heal medium))
0x001f0011 (spell: LIST(lightning storm, 4d6 damage))
etc.?
Or maybe create some special attack that hits all party members for a high amount of damage (even party members with low AC) even from a distance?
The basic attack 0x000e0001 is basically useless once you have enough good armor and other items to drop your AC so i'd need some special attack that's going to really hit party members enough to make them worry they might not make it through the battle. heheheh.
Is there some way to get a listing of the types of attacks and the # that corresponds to the attack?RT: If you want to give your creation additional skills then you will need to comb through the actions.dat file using the action editor.
