monsters.txt file

Post by dragonbait »

Post 3 (Concerning the Devil Whiskey)
I still have high hopes on the DW devs sending us the monsters.txt file so we can create some new monsters for the game without having any game events break. I got this response from Jeanne (Jykler).

"... I have an email from August that says YES they can get it ... but I never saw it, so I sent a new message asking about where to get it now. I should be able to get back to you soon. Thanks for your patience, and thanks for bringing it up again so I could follow up. -Jeanne"

so there's still hope yet.

Cool that Jykler is trying to get it & being so nice--hope it comes thru!
Hopefully, she &/or whoever else is gonna be 'handling' the game can soon get All the files necessary.. & then OPEN the Source Code! :D

I had forgot about the request because I was told it was going to happen. I'll try and keep following up until it happens ;)

Considering Growler's hairiness, maybe we should be quoting Ozzy with "Bark at the Moon"

I think we're getting the runaround yet AGAIN.

Come on! you guys promised to release the code. The least you can do is send us the completed monsters.txt file!

I was running away, not trying to get your code. NOW WHAT?!?!?!

OK, It's funny because I just started hammering for the code again, just last week ... I will let you know what happens, so far, I have the "yes" it can be done, but no file as of yet.

THanks for your patience.

I stand(or sit) corrected. It is HGamer that I meant to ping with that one. If you look on his website http://www.geocities.com/hentaihelper/p_gmhelp.htm
He talks about using DW to do the 2 Bardslore games. I loved the bardslore games, but the interface was not fun. You put that into the DW format and that would be some fun. Sorry for the confusion JKyler.
