It is definitely getting there. I am already considering adding more places, but that will wait for another time. I think I have completely mapped out the Leaf Note quest as well, although I am not sure I am completely happy with it. We will see how it plays first.

I have fixed my script, so things are moving forward once again. This time, it was my naming for a parameter, which I called combat(e). It must have confused it with the combat function. I renamed it to fight1(e), and all is well. One more thing down, 1000's more to go.

Well, my fixed script isn't working anymore, now that I decided to add more features to it. I had the intention of adding these features all along, and there is still more, in fact, but I wanted to put them in one at a time as it makes troubleshooting easier (relatively speaking).

So, I am giving up for tonight and will have to regroup tomorrow. But, there was definite progress today, as I am moving closer to finishing the TOTE quest. Once complete, the Leaf Note is next. I will probably print out my map files tomorrow and work on getting them coded shortly after that. The mapping is pretty simple, at least for me. Things usually start to go wrong at the scripting part.

Here is my updates "To Do List"

1. Finish the Temple of the Elements - IN PROGRESS
2. Add monster encounters in the 6 BT2 cities (no dungeone or quests yet) - DONE
3. Finish the "Leaf Note" quest - IN PROGRESS
4. Script the Gnome city
5. Finish the monster list (need to find out a few more attacks)
6. Create a quest for the Thunderhammer unique crafting ingredient
7. Trees, Trees, and more Trees in the Wilderness
8. Add a few lakes and other wilderness scenery
9. Finish the remaining BT scripts (mostly just a few scripted fights and plot items remaining)
10. Incorporate Hedge Maze from Tales of the North (framework) - DONE
11. Everything else I forgot

Well, I printed out the Leaf Quest maps and did a little programming for them. I am still having problems with my script, so I am also pouring through the DW scripts to see if I can find one that is functioning similarly, although I doubt it. I also founf some of my older scripts, but they aren't working, so perhaps what I am trying to do has been broken. Who knows. Anyway, I will pick it up later.

Are you even sleeping? LOL

Sleep? What's that?

Actually, I am not spending that much time modding, I made up all of the things I have written over the past few months. I am not even working on any mods right now. :P

Okay, seriously, I try to put in a few hours a week, mostly in large chunks of time, and not every day. The only part I hate is having to stop at the end of the day to go to sleep when I have something that is just not working right. I keep trying a tweak here and there, and loading up the game to test it, and when I finally decide I have to go to bed, I spend a lot of time thinking about other changes I could have tried before going to sleep. It is addictive.

Ye kin sleep in thee Afterlife!

for some unknown reason, your statement about making up stuff & not actually modding--Very amusing!

it sounded kinda true--like you were pulling a.. a..ah...?

Quick question I thought I would put out there. There are a number of items that I am adding that have a limited number of charges. Do you think the charges should be specified in the name, such as:

Fire Horn (25)
Lorehelm (20)

or do we leave the charges off and make you kust guess at it:

Fire Horn
Lorehelm

Let me know.

I'd prefer to see the # of charges.
