FAQ ?

Post by The Wombat »

Was there a FAQ file on the old board? Has anyone saved a copy of it?

If so, please Cut'n'paste it here.

Me too!

The #1 answer will probably be: "it's the same as the name of the game".

It would probably be a good idea to start taking questions that get posted numerous times and have them get answered in one place. But it really comes down to a new user joining the boards without first looking around to see if their question has been answered.

Although, I guess everyone is a new user now.

But that's the problem o'course. No history anymore.

Still, it's probaby fair to say that one could guess the top dozen Newbie questions & start a basic FAQ Before the've even been asked!

And the answer to 99% of them would be... RTFM!

Tehn you will have the people who will ask

What does RTFM mean?

In those cases, we will personally visit them and hit them on the head with a tack hammer.

We've come to expect tackiness from you. To somewhat quote from a admin from another board I frequent; "you spawned from the shallow end of the gene pool".

Dom, how dare you quote from any part of the gene pool. You've been forcibly removed from every part of the gene pool (poor boy, you're too young to understand) and the remainders... well, you just never know, do you??

"When you level up, choose INT because you spawned from the shallow end of the gene pool".

I wouldn't say anything if I were you, Mrs Growler.
