Manger mangled, meets maker - AGAIN

Post by Stax »

Origen.
I played your version of BT1, yet again, four times now, I think.
Well done on a great job. I made no changes to the monsters in this game, but may try again with monster madness and a different team.
Only had a one hiccup. That was trying to use the "travelhelm". Crashed to Desktop. Did not try again.

I remember the first time we played this game. There were two of us. We worked night shift at the time and spent 5-6 hours per day wandering around killing everything. Took us about 2 months to finish. We played on an 086, with 256Kb ram and a 10Mb Hard Drive, VGA 16 colour graphics.
The Berserker fight alone took over 5 hours to complete. Super fast scroll was about the same speed as the slowest scroll on the new game. Yawn..

Anyway, look forward to BT2.

Thanks again.

Glad you enjoyed it. I am working on making it even better (actually, I scrapped almost everything I did and am rebuilding from scratch.)

I guess the travelhelm won't be fixed until the new mod release. I don't even know where my old files are, anymore.

Manger? Did you whoop the crap out of your manager at your old job or something? Or did you finally get rid of your mange that you got from Growler?

Given the spelling in the topic title, I wasn't sure which. I know I've wanted to beat up a manager or three... or four... or four dozen.

Hmm, was wondering where my mange got to!? (still got the itchy lesions, but my wild hair has mostly grown back!)

Stax, I'd like it back when you're thru with it. Thanks..
Some Welch guy named Damall wishes to borrow it next.

Thanks for the idea Growler.

I think that I will create a monster called the Black Mange, which will be a thick oily cloud of mites that swarm adventurers pouring through the miniscule joints between their armor, eating them alive from the inside out.

Maybe I'll call them Growler Mites :)

Seeing how bootie is soft and fleshy, I think that part would be the first thing the Black Mange would go for, so sorry, none left over for you.

...er...you meant "booty" and not "bootie."

Growler would look funny running around the dungeon with with no butt, eh?

I have seen the very blackest pits of evil. I have seen the horrors of hell. I have seen the festering boils of sin eat away the flesh of a thousand lost souls. But YOU take the cake.

Isn't this supposed to be about my mod. Let's get back on topic about how great I am.
